Greenberg's Hear & Tell
Josias; Pic below, (center the teal shirt) nearly died. A herd boy from age 8 until Bible college. Now the National Director of Every Home for Christ Lesotho. He faithfully serves pastors throughout the Mountain Kingdom. Two years ago on an icy pass, the accident struck fast. They were delivering Christian literature in a small truck when it happened. The driver died. Joasias barely made it. The scars are apparent and so is his resolve. He's ready to welcome our team of more than 30 coming from America! We will encourage and serve alongside him and his team in just a few short weeks. So much more to tell about this man, his family & his life… stay tuned. *Also pictured 21 year old Michael and 19 year old Joseph, both herd boys 2 of 35,000 in the nation. Also Mike Greenberg & Chris Clum, Chris is the Executive Director of
Experience Mission.
Reminder of the Path: After 20 years in the Christian publishing business the Greenberg family packed up and moved to Africa to serve alongside
organizations working with
HIV/Aids orphans and others. They were asked to work with church leaders and grew in their capacity.
Update on the Present:
[DAB]
As the
Daily Audio Bible Missions directors Mike & Jennifer are growing in ways they never conceived. Their overall focus is making the Bible more accessible in predominantly illiterate cultures… when it comes to Biblical illiteracy their backyard has an epidemic!
Over 90% of American Christians do not open the Good Book outside of church on Sunday.
* Making the oral/spoken Word more accessible local & global.
[Mozambique]
July 9-19 ::: Jennifer in Mozambique
~ Jennifer will lead a group of women to serve alongside neglected women in Rural Mozambique. In poor areas girls are caused to drop out of school, to marry young while the family collects a dowry. This is the culture they’ll be serving in. Jennifer shares about it on her blog:
Nature of the Sojourn
[Rwanda]
July 26-31 ::: Mike in Rwanda
~ Building Bridges with churches in America & Africa. A relationship with the Anglican church of Rwanda is growing, which will build true alliances with churches in North America and Africa.
~ Advancing the spoken Word with DAB into Rwanda.

Aug. 1-9 ::: Mike in Lesotho
~ Where Aids is rampant and young men swap education for shepherding the family wealth… we’ll serve with a large team from California in vacation Bible school for the little kids, soccer camps for teens and pastoral care with local leaders. You heard Josias story above.
Here's a 1:23 clip showing a couple pictures from our time there in Feb.
